WORKSHOPS

.

Once a month you will have the opportunity to sign up for a 3-hour workshop.
Workshops are different than classes because more theory and principles are taught about a very specific subject. Students receive handout resource materials, they take notes as well as experience specific postures to the workshop topic.       Workshop topics change each month. Workshops include subjects as, developing a home yoga practice, partners yoga, healthy backs, loosening tight necks and shoulders, sun salutations, hip openers, yoga bytes, pranayama- the breath of life, etc.

Yoga for Children:  3-9 years old

Saturday August 9th is the next one up

The Yoga for Children was a huge success.  The class was full and the kids had a blast and didn’t want to leave the studio. The adults contacted me and Anne wanting to have this program  run yearlong.  Soooo, Yes!  Anne will be teaching this wonderfully lively fun class the 1st saturday of each month through December!   Call studio to be sure of date)  If you don’t know about this special class it is easy yoga poses especially selected for children.  Teacher, Anne Henrikson presents these poses and movements in fun, imaginative and creative ways that foster a life-long connection between your child’s mind, body, and spirit.

Through the use of classical Hatha Yoga poses, dynamic stories, songs, and creative movement, your child will experience greater breath awareness and increase his/her understanding of the soul’s innate goodness.  Yoga for Children is non-competitive and inspires a spiritual connect to the heart.

Anne Henrikson is a mother of 2 young girls, and the three of them enjoy an active yoga practice together.  Anne teaches classes at Fountain of Health Yoga Studio and has completed Anusara Level 1 Teacher Training.
