Learn Yoga (online or in the studio)

In a Peaceful, Welcoming, and Compassionate Space

Fountain of Health Yoga School (FHYS) is about balance, strength, and flexibility while enjoying and growing, learning, and experiencing, and developing a life with more faith and love. FHYS offers daily classes, weekend workshops, and teacher training in areas related to yoga, Ayurveda, and meditation.

The teachers at FHYS join Marcee with her mission of opening opportunities for students to discover transformation and empowerment. The teachers present guidance from basic posture alignment and breath techniques to teaching students to find their unique pathway to their full holistic potential.

FHYS teachers resonate with compassion and energy and encourage self-reflection without judgment, which leads to everyone’s’ feeling of all-around success and well-being.

Since being founded in 1996 by Marcee Gutman-Ballantyne, FHYS’s students continue to heal and prevent injuries with proper body alignment, experience how intelligent sequencing increases strength and endurance, learn pranayama, breathing, and meditation techniques to reduce stress and increase happiness, and use Ayurveda knowledge to maintain and improve health.

When Live online

Here are some guidelines for your best experience:

  • Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes before class starts. Before class is a great time to greet your friends and make new friends. It also gives you time to set up your mat so that your teacher can see you.
  • New students must fill out a student profile and waiver before taking a class. You can do this through your Punch Pass account.
  • Turn off your cell phone and minimize your distractions.
  • If you must leave class early, it is simple on Zoom as you just leave the meeting. Try to budget a few minutes before you leave for your savasana.
  • Always practice at your own pace and listen to your body.
  • You will be muted in class so that the teacher's sound is the best. Always feel free to unmute yourself if you have any questions or comments.
